DP - Phantom Twins AU - Dani Reborn

In an alternate timeline where they were unable to rebuild Dani in time, Vlad & Dina have a son named Michael who looks just like his father with slightly more rounded facial features, but has his mother's ocean blue eyes.

Later, they also have a daughter who looks a lot like Dina with her overall face-shape, but with higher cheekbones, Vlad's Aquiline nose, thinner lips, & royal blue eyes, though in Dina's eye-shape.

The moment she was born, Vlad knew that it was Dani. She might have looked different, but something in her eyes were the same.

Since Vlad had become a better man, he'd begun to feel immeasurably guilty for how he'd treated the girl who he should've regarded as his first child.

He remembered how she hated the name Danielle, & how it made her feel like she was just a lackluster copy. She preferred it when her family called her Elle or Ellie. So, he named her Ellenor Masters this time in hopes that she'd be happier with it.

Vlad would do everything he could to give her a happy life this time.

I've been in Phandom for several years now and I've always been attracted to the dynamics of Vlad and Dani, but alas, there was very little content on them. Everything changed after I found you, almost every day I check this blog for updates and reread old comics. Every post, comic, AU by Cheese&Melt is pure serotonin for me. Thank you very much for everything you do

Aw, man. I've been struggling with various things these past several weeks, and you have no idea how much hearing this means to me. I'm very grateful that all the work I've done and fun I've had playing with such a niche DP dynamic is appreciated by my fellow fans.

I knew coming in that there wasn't a lot of Vlad & Dani art for obvious reasons (canon leaves such a bad taste in the mouth regarding them. My loathing for D-Stabilized alone is the reason why I started drawing them so much, I just couldn't take how badly Vlad was written in that episode) and it's nice to be able to fill that father/daughter void. It's been a year and I've never produced so much fan art in my entire life. Be the change you want to see, that's all I can say.
